I made the mistake of getting overexcited on the library's website and put requests in for more books than I can read at once, especially the ILLs, with no renewals. In Alabama, this would have been fine, because I had what seemed like infinite renewals. Another shortening of time, I guess. So I'm up early reading Maurice Blanchot (well, so far the translator's introduction, which is complicated and good).

The writing of the disaster: the erasure of whatever it is that by this writing is written, the effacement of lines that cannot have been drawn if not by the stroke that now deletes them.
