Also, unless you are totally out of the loop, yesterday was the 4th of July. It was my first one in this town, since I was home for my cousin's wedding last year, and the fireworks went off early so I ended up watching them over the tree tops in Emma's graveyard, instead of with the big group in a closer location. It made me miss the fireworks at Rider University in my hometown, everyone putting down blankets on the lawn where they've never seen a fire ant, my high school friends gathering, running into people I haven't seen in years, lying down and watching the fireworks explode the dark sky right above me while the ground shakes because it's a small town. The diner after (always, the diner after).  

Homesick? Yeah.
